Mica-based capacitors for high temperatures/high frequencies

For environments in which operating temperatures and/or frequencies are too high for polypropylene capacitors, mica capacitors provide a substantially more cost-efficient solution than widely-used ceramic technology.

Mica dielectrics feature:

·         A low loss angle (tan δ<5x10-4)

·         A dielectric constant that is independent of temperature

·         A flexible operating temperature range up to 150°C

·         High dielectric constant (ε=~8) that allows higher capacitance per unit volume
